Spirits of the Forest CD

Featuring the outstanding Celtic group Govannen on tin and low whistles, violins, bodhran and guitars, while harper France Ellul completes his mythical Spirit Trilogy with Spirits of the Forest. Following a traveller as he makes his way through an ancient forest, the listener is taken into a magical realm inhabited by wood spirits that enlighten him with gifts of wisdom and tranquility.
About the Artist
France Ellul has studied and taught the Celtic harp for many years, using it in the Vitae ensemble and his own group, Harps of Avalon, as well as solo. His harp is also an integral part of his storytelling and guided meditation France met Chris Conway at a music festival. They played together impromptu with such an obvious affinity that Chris played on France’s first CD, The Seven Harps of Avalon, and joined the Harps of Avalon soon afterwards playing at numerous festivals all over the UK. The two met again when they performed with new age stars Llewellyn and Juliana.
